Covid-19 support fund – We have set up a support fund on our giving pages on church suite – so we can easily see money intended for supporting people in need of help during the current Covid-19 outbreak. You can give in to this fund by following this link.
‘Back to Church’ plans
During our ‘Heart for the House’ meeting yesterday evening, we discussed our ‘back to church’ plans, in preparation for when the Welsh Government changes the lock down rules for Wales.
To ensure as many people can still worship with us as these plans unfold, we will continue to provide Church At Home, as a YouTube option at https://faithchurch.wales/YouTube going live at 10:30am each Sunday morning (and then available to catch up after the premiere finishes).
To emphasise, Faith Church will always adhere to Welsh Government rules and advice regarding this pandemic (where the advice given does not prohibit our freedom to worship God (albeit online or socially distanced); and does not contradict biblical teaching) and we would ask that church members do the same.
This plan is subject to change and will be updated once we have further information from the Welsh Government, please check back here for updates as they unfold.
We want to be able to help our community at this hard time. If there are people you know who are self isolating and need help getting essentials, please contact the church by phone, or using the form at the bottom of this page, and we will try as much as we can to help those in need.
We will not be meeting at church on Sundays for the next few weeks, however you can join with us on Sunday morning for ‘Church at Home’ at 10:30am each Sunday, by visiting https://faithchurch.wales/church-at-home. We are also working on some resources for children which you can use at home, which will be here https://faithchurch.wales/kids
Pastor Mike Taylor has recorded the following video to explain what we are planning on doing as a church over the next few weeks:
The current Government advice can be found here:
And the advice from the NHS can be found here:
Finally, we know we have a Father who loves His children. We would encourage you to read and pray over yourself Psalm 91, which contains some beautiful verses about God’s protection. Jesus teaches us to live by faith, not by fear and, although we should ensure we are following the advice given out of love and respect for others, we must trust Him and praise Him in all circumstances.
We are particularly keen to help anyone in our community who needs assistance during this time. Please fill this short form in with details, and one of the team will be in touch as soon as we can:
